My husband and I were up in the NEK for a family internment over August 28th - 31st. We have been on the Northern Start dinner cruise many times and we always enjoy the experience! We came on Friday night (the 29th) and it was amazing! The food and cocktails were super, the views spectacular and the staff amazing as always!! The Northern Star is truly one of Newport's most amazing assets. Cannot wait for our next visit!!
The cruise was enjoyable and the captain was very informative explaining some of the things we were seeing along the way. I'm glad we decided to take this cruise while in Newport. imo it's a must do while visiting the area. The price was reasonable, we got a good value for what we paid.

We went on the Northern Star Dinner Cruise during our vacation this weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredible. Sara was hands-down the best waitress I’ve had in a very long time—she handled the boat with ease, was so attentive, and always had a smile. Willie, the first mate, had such a great personality and made us all feel welcomed.
