Scammed me for $1300, told me a I needed a full engine rebuild, just because the tappets weren't adjusted properly. I then went to good diesel mechanic and paid $200 for the tappets to be adjusted properlu and an EGR block put in and has since been running beautifully. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Experienced mechanic, who knows his stuff. Can be a bit dry, but talented people often are. Honest as day is long. I'm a customer of 30 years, easily the best value going around.
I used this company on the recommendation of my neighbour. I had a motor that I wanted assembled using a overhaul kit that I had specifically bought for the job. I was shocked to find out that the company had clocked up expenses/parts that was not asked for at no stage did the company approach me for approval on these expenses. I had to eventually pull the pin and request the engine to be returned in it's now stripped down state and pay the exuberant fees which eventually made the repair to the engine unrealistic. A little abrupt and abrasive on face to face contact sounds like he knows his stuff but acts like he's doing you a favour, went somewhere else.
