This is a very cool place, and the on-site owners are responsive and friendly. There was recently a forest fire in the area and the owners had to evacuate and weren’t able to return until 2-3 weeks before our stay. However the lodge and grounds are fine, and the owners did an amazing job cleaning everything as we couldn’t detect any smoke or problems of any kind. The pictures don’t do this place justice. My wife and I truly enjoyed our 5 nights here!!! We loved the solitude and peacefulness of the lodge!! We loved that it felt like we were coming home each night ! The surroundings were just what we wanted, beautiful and peaceful! It was really nice being out of the city yet still having access to Fairbanks! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
