Northern Sierra Propane, Inc. has served Grass Valley along with Nevada and Placer County customers since January of 1990 from their office and shop was located at 13120 John Bauer Avenue (near the airport), now across the street at 13121 John Bauer Avenue. Edward (Ed) Rogers started delivering propane from a small office near our current location using one delivery truck, and has grown his business (four trucks) by using the motto Fast, Prompt & Reliable Service.

Called 3 days ago to tell them we were going to run out of propane.they said they would put us on the schedule. We ran out of propane.my 80 year old mother is now in a house w no heat.they delivered to our next door neighbor but didn't fill our generator tank.we are a 7 min. Drive from their office.roads and driveway are clear and they couldn't get it done.no response when you call even during business hours.maybe they used to be good but it seems that those days are long gone.look at the recent reviews

We ran out of propane (not due to any services, forgot to check on the gas levels) and Northern Sierra was the only company that could fit us in less than 10 days. They fit us into our schedule, were very professional and pleasant. We were worried about a leak for one of our appliances, and they did some extra leak tests because our home warranty hadn't gotten to us yet. They congratulated us on our new house, and were efficient and wonderful. Thank you for the emergency delivery!
My home burned to ash in one of the latest N.Cal forest fires and like so many others, no insurance. The financial devastation is significant, but the emotional devastation even worse. I own a tropical parrot rescue & sanctuary and thank God, no lives lost. We found a place to live and at the recommendation of the property owner called N Sierra Propane, explaining repeatedly that we could only afford the "bare minimum" - just get us through the most frigid weather.
