This is one of the best rail trails in Australia.
Best trail i found. Plenty of stops to have a break on the trail
The snake warnings are real. Twice we have come across snakes on the trail. You will need a torch/ light going through Burringbar tunnel. This includes walkers who can be hard to see in the dark as a phone torch doesn't cut it. Try to avoid school holiday/ long weekends.
As a family, we hired three e-bikes for four hours to attempt the trail. We completed 18.7 of the 24 km within the allotted time. We plan to build the children’s riding skills and return in the near future. Highly recommended—pleasant scenery throughout, with multiple stops for drinks (multiple café) and activities.
