What a credit to all that have made this a success. Great ride. Started at mooball as we stayed at Pottsville the day before. Love all these railtrails.
Wonderful scenic ride through northern NSW. Make sure you pop in to Crabbes Creek shop near the end of the trail for a break and refreshments!
Just an amazing initiative! Not only a brilliant bike trail but also a stunning walk through some of the most beautiful countryside in Australia. Every turn offers a new view — rolling green hills, charming towns, and that genuine Northern Rivers magic. It’s more than a trail; it’s an experience that celebrates community, nature, and the simple joy of being outdoors. Absolutely special and a must-do for anyone visiting the region.
What an awesome ride! Parked up at Mooball right next to the rail trail. Beautifully presented, bitumen surface often near country road crossing. Multiple purpose built bridges over waterways. Fine packed gravel surfaces passing through sweeping vistas of sugar cane fields, black jersey cows grazing on beautiful green pastures, amazing mountain views in the distance. Flowering jacaranda and poinciana over the path near Murwillumbah. Long tunnel to pass through (use headlight), just so well kept railtrail and relatively new. ... read more
