We loved staying here. The location was nice and quiet but close to Two Harbors, and the management was great. The rooms really are boxcars, but they’re not lacking at all. The ceilings are the original boxcar material, which is cool. If I could offer one suggestion, I’d ask for more items in your gift shop. I’d have been happy to buy a lot more than I did!

Very friendly, there was a slight mix up in our room but they took care if the problem immediately. Good breakfast and great location. Great place to stay for the weekend

I was really impressed with the entire place. Owner was very friendly and attentive. Everything was well kept, clean, and decorated on theme (trains!). They had movies to watch, board games to play, and swinging chairs to sit on out front. The surrounding woods were quiet and peaceful. It's just north of Two Harbors, so not a long drive to all the cool state parks further north. I definitely recommend staying here, we really loved it!
