I have had a good experience seeing Sharryn Muir... I really feel Sharryn gets it. She is very supportive and validating.
I've been attending this practice for what must be ten years or more now. They've supported me through many a crisis on top of the ins and outs of day to day life. I can't find enough words to explain how much they've done for me. The receptionists are brilliant also. And Mary downstairs sells soothing treats to drink and eat from her coffee cart.
I will repeat. The referral made by my bipolar father was vexatious in nature. I am safe. "First do no harm." Take my personal details off of your call register. Banging on my shutters after dark, wearing all black is not how you approach a family violence survivor. This is not my clinic.
As a family violence survivor, I am appalled by this clinics abrasive approach to forcing mental health services upon referral.
