I usually have a good experience here, except this past time. I went in to be checked after having an accident. During my visit in the ER I had a seizure. Nurse Amanda in the ER used my seizure as a teaching moment to tell the other nurse it was all in my head then tell me “I can’t help you unless you tell me what’s wrong” WHILE I WAS SEIZING. I hope this nurse gets either a bunch of training or a new job. Absolutely awful bedside manner and completely wrong in her “diagnosis” of what was happening with me.

I’d like to personally thank and shout out the L&D staff at Sierra Medical center! Kristi and Stacey specifically have to be some of the greatest nurses and overall people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, not to mention the care they provided me was top notch! This was my first and only time ever being admitted in a hospital and thanks to them, it was 100x better than I ever could have expected; even given the circumstances of being there to push a baby out! Everyone was very helpful, from the receptionists to every nurse I met. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend their out patient surgery center.

If i could give less i would. I help a retired disabled vet with his care and everyday life and when he was hospitalized here and I needed to know information about his prognosis and care not one nurse knew anything. No one knew when he would be released and absolutely no regards to my time to drive 2 hrs to come pick him up. The medical care team was incredibly unprofessional. The janitorial staff was kind and way more helpful to me and him.
