I was referred to her because I have family history of the BRCA gene and tested positive for BCRA1. For whatever reason, insurance companies require an appointment with a genetic counselor otherwise they will refuse to pay for treatment, tests, ect. All of the other reviewers are absolutely correct- she is very rude, unprofessional, and hungry for money. I received a confirmation letter from her on a Thursday before my scheduled Monday appointment basically explaining "she does not take credit or debit cards and I need to de... read more

Planned Parenthood suggested I give Dr. Robbin Palmer a call because my sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and she tested positive for the Chek 2 mutation. This Dr. doesn't accept Medicaid, but I was told she did by Planned Parenthood. She quoted me $100/hr and was incredibly rude on the phone. I called a couple other Genetic Counseling offices in the area, and guess who answers every number: THIS SAME DR.

The person below my comment is correct. DO NOT go to see this lady. My wife went to be seen by her and she told me she was very rude and try to tell my wife that she didn’t think she would qualify because she never had cancer. It was a complete lie though because my wife did have pre-stage one cancer (cancer cells were in a cyst contained) as diagnosed by another doctor and proof of it through a biopsy. In addition, she didn’t think our insurance would cover it. After it was all set and done she called my wife and asked her ... read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD! She doesn't even deserve 1 star! She's a complete joke. We went to her last year to get help with our son but she insisted we did not bring him to the appointment to meet her. We brought him anyways because the appointment was for him and we were not comfortable leaving him behind. She was very rude during the entire appointment. We met her in the conference room of another office because she does not have an office of her own. She was told before we even agreed to see her that we had medicaid and ... read more
