Terrible. Back in 2016 my son had to go to the ER. He had Medicaid which cover any emergency services including Renown Regional MC. They sent a bill which i called and complaint about because i told them our insurance covers it and they told me not to worry about it. Here i am now 2/25/2020 with that SAME bill but in collection. I spoke to my insurance and they said they show proof that i was covered that they should have never billed me . Serious issues with this place. I was admitted to the hospital last year, but I was meeting my personal doctor at the ER. The doc from this place literally walked in and said that he wasn't going to do an exam or see me because I was meeting my doctor there. He then charged me nearly a grand for telling me he wasn't going to see me. I have complained to the billing department, Renown, my insurance, and the insurance commissioner about this. I self admitted to Renown Hospital. I don't have an issue with the doctor or the care. Actually, coming from San Francisco I was pleasantly surprised to find a top tier, non-university affiliated ER. I have Kaiser, my insurance covered everything. Kaiser insurance covered the visit and post care including the majority of the $300 co-pay for the ER visit. My question and I am working with Kaiser billing, is from under which rock did these people come?
Absolute joke of an establishment. All they care about is sucking innocent people of their funds that give them and their family lives. Avoid these disgusting vampires at all costs.
