Excellent tourist attractions Must visit at this time of the year to see northern lights
Really need and totally unexpected. Stopped at the visitor centre and found a really great video about Northern lights.
$15 for tickets to the shows in the planetarium. As of Sep 10, 2025 they showed two films, one about black holes, the other about northern lights. When I was there, there were four other people in the theater with me. Shows start every hour on the hour, and last about 45 minutes. It was definitely worth the $15. Highly recommended.
Great stop if you are passing thru Watson Lake. Staff is very helpful. Free wifi.
