I was so impressed by my first experience with NL Same Day in Ellsworth. Excellent staff (administrative and medical), in take, wait time, and visit with the medical provider. They treated me so well and with great care. They handled my prescription at the Hannaford perfectly. I even called back a week later to obtain another refill and, while traveling out of ME, this location arranged for a transfer of the prescription right on the phone to a national chain that could fill the order. Excellent experience from start to finish. I was diagnosed with pneumonia, had my scripts back home recovering in 3 hours. Thank you Mrs Pope, you are an example of how to administer excellent healthcare. Surprising to me, all parts of this NL team worked well together and genuinely want to help.
I'm a patient of that clinic, and I suffer from asthma. They brought out a specialist who saw me clearly exacerbated and could barely breathe and told me to go to convenient MD who treated me well, because they were booked for same-day appointments. I love my primary doctor which is the only reason why I have not switched clinics. And this is the second primary doctor I had in both of them have been great. I brought my 6 year old son in a couple days ago. He had a barking cough and a sore throat that started out of no where. The doctor swabbed him for strep. Came back negative. She then said he didn’t need testing for Covid or RSV. She discharged us and gave us education material on upper respiratory infection. The next day I tested him because he got worse over night. He in fact had Covid. I won’t be going here again. The doctor didn’t seem to care about ruling everything out. We were there all but 10 minutes.
