I went to a clinic in Belfast on a Friday and received the wrong diagnosis. I didn't go to Northern Light because I heard some negative things about the care. A huge mistake. The following Wednesday 08/19/2025, I went to the ER in Ellsworth and received the best medical and nursing care!!! Dr. Berwick was the ER physician. He quickly made the diagnosis of flexor tenosynovitis and made a referral to a hand surgeon, Dr. Pruchnic in Bangor. We were on vacation. The person I was with went to the ER because he had been sick in bed for a week, and was disoriented. They were going to send him home because, as they said "the only thing wrong is low sodium". They had to be talked into admitting him. His temp never went below 99.3, but they said it wasn't a fever, despite him having chills and being exhausted. (The hospital he is at now said "technically he doesn't, but how does he feel?").
