Paid for a pre surgical consultation but got no rebate because this surgery would not use the appropriate item that Medicare site shows could have been used. Maybe find a practice that ensures they do not clean out your walllet altogether by using a Medicare item number so at least you get some small rebate in return.

My doctor would not prescribe me any sort of pain management until I saw the doctor at NIPM so I did and being on a pension it was an out of pocket $390 and for that I got 20, 50mg tramol a month. I have been on other forums of stronger pain management before after a bike accident at 19yrs I'm now 65, I broke my nose both jaws left shoulder and collar bone right hip left knee right ankle and spent 4mths in Prince Alfred hospital my pain is mostly arthritis and now have optio penia in my left hip. 20 tramol LOL I'd be better ... read more
