Was up there for 12 hours yesterday and I could not have had better attention, yes there was a few waits but that's the nature of the beast. The staff COULD NOT have been nicer and so attentive and professional. Thank you all!! Elaine
I’ve been to 3 hospital emergency rooms (Prince of Wales, St.Vincent, this POS) and this by far the worst experience. Exactly 5.5 hours just waiting around for one doctor to another. Waste of time. Avoid at all costs.

Run like a business. Understaffed which results in incredibly long wait times. Edited to highlight that all staff, docs, and nurses are fantastic. Just need more of them to serve the demand.
The dedicated staff in Emergency at Nthn Beaches Hospital are wonderful. The fact that they need a certain autonomy to perform their roles in this dept means they aren’t subject to the same over-administration/under-staffing/inefficiency that seems to plague other parts of the hospital. I’ve been twice in there over the past 2.5 months, each time moving to emergency short stay them to a ward (different pelvic fractures each time) and can say with profound gratitude that the Emergency staff are top-notch.
