The one-star review I left is for the emergency room at this VA facility. I came in with heart problems and was shown the door by an incompetent ER doctor. When I had to come back a second time, I got the same doctor. Once my care was handed over to a competent doctor, I did receive excellent care.
Went to the ER for “flank pain” was told it was my kidneys… ER calls me next day and says you have a blood infection, did another MRI and was told I needed emergency surgery for a blockage in my bowel so they sent me to Phoenix Va. Nope no blockage it’s my gallbladder… 8 days later no surgery went inpatient again at YRMC they said blood infection and angry gallbladder . So now 2 months later still have flank pain but nobody seems to know what it is. Now on pain medication got surgery consult in may now…. I don’t understand w... read more
