On Saturday evening my wife was transported by ambulance for a fall, head trauma and loss of consciousness to NVRH ED. After only x-rays and no head CT, we were told it was just a bruise and sent home. She went all Memorial Day weekend in severe pain with just Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Tuesday morning the physical therapist looked at the x-rays and said the femur looked fractured.
