So the good parts first. My wife and I have had 2 of our 3 children at nvrh. The birthing center is amazing, the nurses really give you the support you need and make you feel at home even if your not. The midwives are amazing The bad now, the food at the cafeteria is utter garbage, we stayed there 5 days with both of my babies born there....let's start with breakfast, I had a cheese omelet which tasted alright but was super small, next day I had pancakes, they were hard as a rock and tasted like dirt Lunch I tried the roaste... read more

I’ve had two babies at NVRH. My first son was born in September 2022, and recently in December 2024 I had my second son. I had a great experience with the midwives and nurses in the birth center. I wanted to have natural births, and was thankful for the support I received. Would highly recommend the birthing center at NVRH.

I was seen at the E R recently and had very good care; including compassionate X-ray staff. I’m grateful..

I have a friend who was suffering with very bad trauma and diagnosed PTSD, depression,etc..he went to the ER here for help as he was feeling extremely suicidal. They actually told him to come back in the morning if he still felt that way! I had to stay up with him all night watching him hyperventilating and crying hysterically and did my best to keep him calm till the morning when he needed an ambulance to take him back, that finally made them take him seriously and he was given help at Brattleboro as a psychiatrist did in f... read more
