I was treated terrible by Dr Ernst today. I tried to explain my side effects from last month's eye injection and was dismissed and berated by him. I refused the injection and will not be back. I am just another number to him..just awful.
My family has a potent strain of RPRG. Multiple family members have lost vision or are progressing to vision loss. I had my Optometrist fax a referral, after making sure that this office was in my tier one insurance provider. Apparently, the referral info was lost. Upon re-fax, they only called they only called my Optometrist, because they figured this was a ”general ophthalmology problem”. I just received this paperwork today on 2/24 for an appointment on 2/20. 😂. Explains how they were 1.5 hours behind. More like 4 days behind. Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to thank Dr. Budde and the wonderful staff at NEW Retina for their kindness and expertise in repairing my Retina and restoring my vision. From the first visit through surgery and recovery the staff was supportive and compassionate during a very stressful time for me. Thank you as well to Dr. Ernst the on call provider at the time when the Retina detached and Dr. Possin who met us at the office on a Sunday when I was having concerns with retinal detachment in my other eye. Many thanks!
