Residents in Northeast Vancouver and surrounding areas will now have increased access to care for urgent needs, and team-based everyday health care. With a focus on residents in the neighbourhoods of Hastings Sunrise, Renfrew Collingwood and Cedar Cottage, the new Urgent and Primary Care Centre will provide care for unexpected, non-life-threatening health concerns that require same-day treatment.

Stop calling these clinics urgent care! I visited today before 5 PM with a terrible ankle sprain and swelling. They didn’t even bother triaging me!! What if it had been an elderly woman with a similar injury and a possible DVT? Are you seriously not triaging ANYONE?? Cause the girl at the front desk barely lifted her head to look at me! I even told them I was willing to wait, as my condition wasn’t life-threatening but still needed attention, and it was well before vlosing time. The medical staff was very helpful, courteous, and noticeably quicker in service compared to several other medical clinic or hospitals especially for walk in patients.
I went there at 11 am, only one person at waiting room, however, the reception said they are fully booked and when I call to book they say they do not book appointments. They asked me to go to another urgent care.and they know there is no urgent care closeby.
Reeeeeeeaaaaally appreciate everything you have done for me to revover from my infection from the wound. It was the best treatment i have gotten in my life including all the hospitals in korea. Very kind.
