These folks are righteous, honest people! I first took my Oldsmobile to another transmission shop (I won't mention the name, but it starts with A-A-M) and was told that I needed a complete rebuild at a cost of two thousand bucks (minimum). They also charged me $40 for this advice. I then took my car to Northeast Transmission for a second opinion. They performed a diagnostic (free!) and informed me that it was an engine problem and NOT a transmission problem. They even gave me the trouble codes and said to take it to an engin... read more

I have had many great experiences with this repair shop...they rebuilt my transmission 10 years ago and it is still running strong....anytime i have a car question they answer my questions without hessitation....I trust them completely!!!!!
