Felt she disliked me immediately with her unfriendly look at me and lack of greeting, then she was very short with the discussion about my condition. I was left confused and afraid to ask her to explain better. The doctor spoke more to the asst then to me. Treated me disdainfully, as beneath her. She left room glaring at me as she closed the door. Dr. Fedoriw is very thorough in explaining your eye issues. She allows time to ask questions, offers suggestions, but leaves a large part of your treatment up to you. She is not high pressure but encourages you with her advice.
Excellent treatment and answered my questions. I recommend her.
I called after hours with symptoms of retinal detachment, a very serious condition. Dr. Fedoriw was on call and was very rude. She took my deep concerns lightly and said to come into the office the next day. No compassion, several insensitive remarks. No "bedside manner" at all. May be an excellent diagnostic doc but not friendly or comforting in the least when on call.
Considering she was the physician on call when my minor child went into the emergency room with a massive eye infection two days out of surgery, you would expect her to take it in stride that she may get called out. Not her. She was the most rude person I’ve ever spoken to on the phone, told me she would try and figure out a way to make it to the hospital if they called her. Getting an appointment with quick and easy. Being notified that I had an appointment in 2 days via email on my phone, was quick and easy. My arrival was 15 minutes early come out registration was quick and easy. I sat no more than 5 minutes before I was taken back to a room and from there my exams word done in a very accurate and concise manner. I had a chance to discuss my conditions with Dr. Fedorwi.
