I visited here about 11 years ago after delivering a 5 axle crane to the power company in Fort Peck, Montana. Caught a flight -50 degrees here and flew to Billings Montana, Denver Colorado, then Houston Texas 70 degrees. OMG thought I was going faint from the heat. I’m a bit of a survivalist and don’t smoke but had an old lighter and had a small half empty can of lighter fluid I literally forgot about and didn’t declare. You’d thought I was a terrorist. Small and convenient airport with friendly staff and smooth service. Easy check-in process and quick security make traveling stress-free. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and parking is very accessible. A great option for flying in and out of the area without the hassle of a big airport
This was our home away from home for 2 nights thanks to some bad weather. The staff here are incredible and welcoming. The terminal is tiny but comfy and we stayed nice and dry and were welcome to get cozy and not be soaked outside. They let us hangar our 170 overnight as a storm loomed and the courtesy car was a nice bonus. Beautiful countryside, incredible people, cannot recommend this airport enough!
