Took sooo long to go back. We had a car wreck and it took forever. My dad couldn’t even walk. People who looked healthy went back first even though they just got thare? Then they said it was based on level of trama? I guess we wernt importend when my dad was actively bleeding. And didn’t hive us any gause or napkins.
If i could have given negative 5 stars I would have .. I brought my son to this ER Thursday night because he was sick with flu-like symptoms and running a high fever. The man working triage was unbelievably rude and completely unprofessional. He told us upfront it would be a five-hour wait, refused to test him for flu or COVID in triage, and rushed us while yelling for the next patient even though we were still standing there. Spent 4 hours in waiting room before even the triage then spent another three waiting for anyone to come to our room and do anything they missed the vein 3 times in 3 different spots before just leaving a needle in my arm for the three hours we sat in the room finally got done with everything and waited for a work excuse alone for another two hours. Your entire team must think it’s a joke. Waited two hours in emergency room. Crawled out, somebody took me to a different hospital and was seen right away. Thanks for the help Gainesville, ER. New buildings and new andvanced equipment you say, but the same shitty service.
Brought my son in and everyone was so attentive and kind. We came in on a an ambulance, and from the sweet lady to check us in, the paramedics that brought us here, the respiratory therapist! There’s so many more that i wish I could remember. But this was an overall scary experience but they all made it so much easier, with their kindness and professionalism. Saved the best for last, Nurse Justine. She went over and beyond to not just make my son comfortable, but me too. Brought me a pillow and heated blanket when she saw me... read more
