I'm incredibly grateful to all the nurses, doctors, staff and volunteers at the Cancer Center during this very trying and overwhelming chapter in my life. Everyone has been so supportive, patient, professional and genuinely caring. I am blessed to have Dr. Emack and his wonderful nurse Shannon guiding me through my journey. Every concern or symptom I've had has been followed up and addressed promptly. Everyone combined has made going for treatment and getting through a terrifying diagnosis a little easier to get through.
For the only cancer centre of Northeastern Ontario. Its pretty good. I have a very wonderful medical oncologist Dr Bonilla I hope i spelled it right. She very nice and understanding. The staff as well very nice and polite, when struggling they give you lots of encouragement. Very positive environment and caring as well. Being far away they do video calls at a hospital video conference at your local hospital or will video conference appointment at home with your own device. Over all my experience had been the best. Thank you
I was first diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in 2002. It’s nearly a quarter century later and I’m still very much alive and kicking. I’ve no doubt my longevity in the face of this disease is due to the tireless efforts of Dr. Mocanu and her team.
We were so impressed with all the staff that we had on our difficult 6 week of radiation therapy. Thank you to all the kind and caring staff and volunteers, you some how made this journey a little easier. Bless you all.
