Go somewhere else ..My son was recommended to come here and off the bat it seemed off. The lady at the check in desk wasent helpful, asked a question and was ignored and was told to sign in . was finally directed to the lahey department and same experience. The receptionist slid open the window and said fill this out ( no hello, how can i help you ) got the papers and bam the window was closed .. When i returned the papers i told her i was told to talk to someone specific and her response was no you dont shes just the intake... read more

My sister brought my nephew (11) to the Lowell crisis team because his therapist recommended he should be hospitalized. They evaluate people in crisis every 24 hours until they are placed. On the first day, she was told that there were no hospital beds open in all of Massachusetts. On the second day, she found out they had only called one place and they misunderstood his insurance coverage. On the third day, they told her that he didn't need to be hospitalized even though another staff member agreed he did earlier that day. ... read more
