Unfortunately, his valuation didn't include comparable properties, including right next door, and the unimproved land value differed from valuer generals value significantly, by $80K. There was no need to compute a land value. I agree with Stephen E. who just posted a review about family law valuations.
Hopeless. Assessed my house at almost $200,000 more than it was actually worth. Then charged me another $300 to 'review' their assessment where they just stuck to their guns with no justification. Other companies had reviewed the house at almost $200.000 less just nine months earlier. Cost me over $50,000 more than it should have when it came to consent orders. *Don't* go there for Family Law valuations. Update: Tigran is saying now that no review was undertaken and no 300 was charged. He half right it was $330 they charged ... read more
