It's a bit weird. I ask for a time frame for screening an eligibility which normal housing authorities have a certain time frame from hud were they have to fill vacant units. I've turned everything in and asked when I should here back (if I'm even approved) I understand waiting till the ten days are up before checking paper work but the woman answering phone basically made it clear she'll get to it when she gets to it. The only positive thing I can say about my experience is that the man who works in the office answering the phone is very polite and pleasant. Besides that, Northboro housing authority is completely unorganized and unhelpful. The worst part is the nasty attitude the director and some of her maintenance workers have. They are obviously burnt out and it SHOWS. When you are helping people in situations of homelessness, you should be just that: helpful. Disappointing experience.
