I have had a really good experience here and I'm writing this review so that those facing this scary diagnosis can feel comforted that they are in good hands. Were there a few poor communication hiccups among countless appointments and images? Yes. But you will need to be your own advocate and hyper aware of the details of your situation no matter where you go. After my last 4 visits I have found that most of the technicians at the infusion unit in north bay cancer center (as well as the other Northbay lab in Vacaville) are badly in need of retraining; I saw dozens of bubbles of all sizes enter my vein as soon as the procedure started. They do not seem to understand the most basic safety steps in blood drawing and saline injection, such as removing air bubbles from the IV line prior to flush as well as prior to saline injection.
