Waited 3 hrs this time. Diabetic ulcer on foot..4 months of medication that did not work and doctor wanted to again prescribe just pain meds. A toe is black festering mess and apparently is not rotten enough for surgery.... according to their protocols. Third World treatment....so get to a bigger centre or Melbourne if you need surgery. Staff obviously cannot cope....

Absolutely shocking my daughter has had her finger cut and hanging off since 10.45am yesterday was told that they had called launceston hospital for her to get her surgery we get to Launceston and they have no clue what a mess around with unless people now over 24hrs later she is getting it fixed, thanks to Launceston hospital, burnie hospital is useless
I collapsed at home, and "found" myself in ICU the next day. From that point I cannot fault at all.
