I recently moved to Wake Forest from Miami. Dr. Amy Fischlein's demeanor was absolutely the most passive aggressive and apathetical encounter I've ever had with a "professional". I took both of my senior dogs in for routine rabies vaccines, flea/heartworm prevention, and exams. Most importantly, I simply wanted her opinion on what my 15 year old dog's neurological issues could be, and after she recommended hip pain meds, I told her it seemed neurological (head pressing, loss of coordination, etc). I have been bringing my pet to this location for a few years now. It is easy to get an appointment online or by phone. They do have some weekend hours which is super helpful! And most of all they are VERY kind and always take time to talk me through an itemized invoice before treatment begins. I never feel that they are trying to push anything unnecessary for my dog. They are our preferred hospital.

The vets and techs here are so kind. They were knowledgeable and helpful in treating my cat’s kidney disease. Unfortunately it progressed too rapidly and we had to make the decision to put him down. They walked me through what each step of the process would be like, and gave me as much time as I needed at each stage. When it came time for the final step the vet stayed with me and talked to me through all my feelings. She was so soft spoken and gentle, it was such a comfort at the end of my cat’s life.
