Drove up from Winnipeg a couple weeks ago and made a point of stopping by Thompson Sportsplex since my nephew had a game there. The ice surface was in great shape, noticeably clean and well-maintained compared to some rinks I've been to back home. Staff at the front entrance were friendly and pointed us right to the right rink without any hassle. Honestly a solid facility for a city this size and I'd gladly come back if I'm ever passing through northern Manitoba again.
Very nice, Arena, the dressing rooms for the players are great. Watching games there is great good sight lines.
I've been part of the town's figure skating club for 5 years now. The staff have always been polite and helpful, the building is always kept clean, and they keep up with ice resurfacing. I have absolutely no complaints.
