This EMS service has transported me twice from Flower Mound Texas Health hospital to Plano Texas Health hospital. The first one was on time, but took a long route to Plano. The second transfer showed up over two hours late then took an even longer route to Plano?? Why do they travel on College street when it is a terrible route. Why do they go all the way to George Bush freeway to get to Plano. Why can’t they just drive to hwy 1171, go through Lewisville to 121, then to Parker (544). I've actually had a few experiences with different Ambulance services. Guy and Scott were the techs on this run and this company. Scott was very polite and nice while getting me belted in, etc. I've had a few that were rough rides but this was great with Scott driving. Guy was in the back with me. He was informative and very respectful. Explained and informed as needed. Horrible place! I took my PALS class on 10/18/2021 and never got my card by email. I sent countless emails asking for them to send it and NEVER got a response.
Be very aware. I argued with the Doc in the Box about even needing an ambulance service to their hospital five miles away. She talked me into it and it turns out that I really didn't need to even go to the hospital. My fears of a thousands of dollars ride were true. They negotiated with BCBS TX and "wrote off" $1850 which is apparently their minimum ride charged $184 for mileage and $650 for disposables. I called and complained because they were not in network and they said none of them are since it is an emergency service. ... read more
