Warning, this is long. My husband had a routine colonoscopy 4 weeks ago - clear bill of health and told to repeat in 10 years. A couple days ago he experience severe stomach pain and vomiting which we thought was likely a virus. He went to the ER where they did a CT scan and found what they believed was an 6-8cm mass in his colon that caused a bowel obstruction.
