I came here 12 years ago. My daughter attended here when I was going to TCC. She also started screaming crying when I dropped her off the second day and so on. I don't know what is going on at this place. But when I came to pick her up one day early she was moved to a different room by herself and a teacher. She was puffy eyed and crying. I removed my son from this daycare after witnessing another child repeatedly hitting a child while the teacher ignored it. That was extremely concerning as a parent. The staff also were not very welcoming or helpful when I asked for assistance with their clock-in/out system, which later caused billing issues with my state child care subsidy. Despite the care being approved and my copay being paid, they attempted to bill me for thousands of dollars instead of resolving the attendance issue with the state. I had my first son at KinderCare North Tacoma for two years, but we decided to leave this year. Overall, I felt that the preschool program lacked sufficient focus on learning and structured play. The children spent most of their time in free play, and unwanted behaviors were not always addressed appropriately. My son also came home using words we don’t use at home, which was concerning.
