Went to get my Honda seen because the maintenance light was on. Went back a few hours later to pick it up, was told that I needed to replace a part of my engine. I was charged $160 JUST FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC. That in itself is insanely ridiculous. I was then quoted over $1600 for the replacement part. We were driving from BC to LA, near Stockton, the Check Engine light of our Ford Transit Cargo Van suddenly came on, and we noticed a significant loss of power when going uphill. Concerned about safety, we didn’t dare to continue driving and google guided us to this location. They immediately arranged an inspection for our vehicle and determined that the engine itself was fine and that the issue was likely due to a rusted exhaust converter unit, causing occasional exhaust blockage, but it wouldn’t affect driving safety.
