First Impressions are not everything My kids love this studio, therfore I like this studio. Don't let the first impression of the studio mislead you. The studio is dingy, dark, run down, dirty and antiquated. It appears to me that the owner doesn't put anything back into the studio. Everything in there is cheap or 100 years old on its last broken leg. I've seen non-profit community center studios with more up to date decor and equipment. Mom hanging on..for now Don't know where to begin.....I love the atmosphere at the studio, but there isn't any consistency with the instructors they are always changing (probably due to management?? If I had to guess). Management is horrible and the older lady behind the desk is absolutley RUDE, the whole thing is hopelessly unorganized. My daughter loves dancing here, I'm going to give it a few more months. Marty; Let your new manager manage if you want to save your business.
another dissatisfied customer Well, I could write a book, but I wont. So many people have left and moved on to better programs. Im surprised its still open. I can not recommend this studio to anyone.
Breath of Fresh Air!! ...North Stars Dance Academy is a wonderful and kind Dance Academy with many accomplished instructors and offers a wide variety of classes. The owner is very kind and if asked to participate or to help she will anyway she can. The Academy each year does "The Nutcracker" production in December and anyone in the studio can audition for parts, there is an awesome competitive dance team and a new competitive cheer team. family im a student at north stars dance academy i am 12 years old going on 13 and when people give this place bad name im ashamed these people are like family to me now no ones stuck up there everyone cares i take cheerleading there tumbling and another cheer class marty is welcoming shes like a grandma and if you are looking for reosinable prices for dance hip hopballet cheer and others plz come and join the family there # is 7029427827 this is based in las vegas nv
Best ballet in town! North Stars Dance may be small, but they are mighty great in ballet. Luz Morante is incredible. My daughter's ballet technique has soared during the 1 1/2 years she has been dancing here. Each December, the studio puts on a production of The Nutcracker. It is fantastic because the majority of the roles (90+%) are performed by youth 18 years and younger. Their ballet instruction rivals anything Nevada Ballet can offer!
Trash talkers Who ever wrote the review about the 4 year old all i can say is wow because I brought in food for everyone and marty told me it was ok to have food . You people who come to north stars just to trash talk! you make me sick and half of you want to call yourselves christian people and talk about luz or marty it makes me sick to my stomach. If you dont like north stars just leave i feel the studio needs to get rid of the trash! out with the old and in with the new it needs a lot of changes!
North Stars We have been with North Stars for about 6 months but soon we will be switching to another ballet company. The class my daughter was enrolled in never started on time and the management seems rather unorganized. They just had the end of year recital. The dress rehearsal was supposed to be from 3:30-5 pm according to the information packet we recieved, we were told not to let our children bring anything to eat backstage.
