Love the style & durability of North Star Windows. Had 8 installed now & 4 more to go!
Had North Star Windows and Sliders installed 2 years ago. Initially had an issue with the slider screens. The handles stick out proud of the screens and if you slide them shut completely into the frame the handles pinch into the frame and are hard to open. ( see pics) I put some 1/2" adhesive backed weather stripping inside the frame pocket to limit how far the slider frame could close and they work fine now. I Bought all new windows and siding doors for our new build, it took them 3 service calls for them to bring the proper hardware. After the build was done, they blamed the installers for not chiming them properly and they are now voiding the warranty. Mean while the product works great, we were just missing hardware. buyers beware on this company!
