what do you know about CHOF? From my experience, the workmanship of North Star is exceptional. What does it matter is the company is owned by the CHRISTIAN church Christ's Household of Faith? Who cares what their religious beliefs are? If you aren't a part of their community, you cannot say first hand that you have any true knowlegde of what they believe. PROS: Excellent work, polite people, fantastic service! CONS: None
Please don't defame a quality business North Star has been doing my plumbing for years. Old, old house, always the odd thing going wrong. They are prompt, prompt, prompt. This last winter I was rehabbing, and just needed them on several occasions with no rush or emergency and they still came right on over. They are one of several great, old-style, service and quality plumbing cos in St. Paul. "North Star" is the state name of Minnesota, so there are many many cos named North Star.
Absolutely not affiliated with any church. Do not confuse North Star Plumbing with North Star Services. Norht Star Plumbing has been in business on Hamline Ave for years. I have used them and reccomended them several times. I have always been pleased with their plumbers, and although no good plumber is cheap, North Star Plmg. has been very competitive and honest with me. I highly reccomend them. (North Star Services is the creepy cult)
This plumbing/heating co. is NOT affiliated with that church The business affiliated with the church is North Star Kitchens, in Minneapolis. This is North Star plumbing and heating. I just got off the phone with them asking about their affiliation. They did do plumbing work in the past for the Household but the Household of Faith now has its own licensed plumbers. weird cult North Star Services has been in St Paul for years. What they don't tell you is that it is a money-making arm of Christ's Household of Faith. If you want your money to support an abusive, controlling mysogonistic & all around creepy (totally UN Christian) cult, go ahead. PROS: CONS: they think your going to hell, so why bother with a good job on your pipes?
