Worst service I have ever had on an automobile accident! Happened last July 2022 and nothing is resolved yet and they won't even return calls to us or our lawyer now. Negative stars for this company!!!! It was clearly their fault in a rear end and nothing. Run from this company!!!! I had to give a one star but they don't even deserve that. Haven't paid the rental car yet either!!!!
We recently had a loss on our electrical line. David Feakes came and assessed the damage. We had a check in the mail within days. Can't thank you enough, David and North Star Mutual. Mark and Maretta Franklund
Our vehicle was hit by an individual insured by North Star. It is obvious their customer crossed the center line and hit us head on. Police report states North Star insured was at fault. Has been an adventure dealing with their adjuster. They originally stated they would send a check the next week for our vehicle. Only to find out a month later after no payment that they decided to fight the case. And we all wonder why our insurance costs are so high.
I can't say enough good things about this company. We lost our home last year in a fire. The very next day, they had an independent adjuster--Kerry Koestler on site. He offered an advance of up to $75,000 on our policy, and advised us to "take care of yourself--rent a place so you can get back to normal--throw out all of your old food and appliances--we don't want anyone getting sick." MAN CAN THIS COMPANY SCREW YOU! I've had them over 10 years, payments always on time! The one time I need them in a bad hail storm, SCREWED!!! Been dealing with it 3 months and back to square one! Adjuster only came in for THE STORM, gone now, have a new adjuster, COLIN. Hopefully it would be different but still the same BULL SHIT! Fighting fighting to restore my home! That's why we have insurance! But not with NORTH STAR, you FUCKED! GET A BETTER INSURANCE!
