Secret Pleasure/ Very good place – This place is full of eccentric good will. Don't miss it. The rooms are clean, lots of staff and the owner is a peach. You'll make friends here. It's full of unexpected, social pleasures. $28.80 a night? Steal this room....
Good, Clean Digs – I stay here often and want to put my two cents in. The North Star is a nice, inexpensive place. It is cleaner than some Mariotts I stayed in. And, yes, there is a lack of major amenities. But for 28.50USD for a single in the off-season, what do you want? You get a clean room, the owner is friendly, the staff asks if you need anything, there is Wi Fi, local calls, cable TV, and a Gideon Bible (some are even annotated, lol), ice machine, soda machine, good water pressure, and a mini-breakfast in the lobby ev... read more
the slum motel – the owner of this paticular motel is not very freindly oriented. I would only recommend this motel if you were low on money and desperate.
