Made appointment..saw the NP... for sleep apnea...blow into a small piece of plastic...the DR looked in my throat...sent home with a $200 sleep apnea watch/ sleep monitor ( on Amazon)...went back a week later..to be told have sleep apnea...saw Dr 2x total..time = 20 minutes max... Received bill..ready?.. and insane $8,300 dlrs....lololol...fking kidding me??.. RUN AWAY
Called the office as a new patient on Friday and they had a cancellation for Monday for 1:30pm. I am so impressed with his staff as well as Dr Berland. He explained how technology has improved sleep apnea and cpaps. I had been stressing for months about having do a sleep lab and New sleep studies can easily be done at home. I am elated how Dr Berland and staff made this visit stress free, provided me with knowledge on how to proceed with sleep apnea issue. Office was convenient, timely and parking available.
I was assigned to Dr. Berland after completing a sleep study and once I met him, he was knowledgeable, helpful, and helped devise a plan that would help me sleep better and incorporated my then-upcoming weight loss surgeon into the plan. Highly recommended!
I saw Dr. Berland for 2-minutes when he stopped in when I was with the NP. My insurance company and I are expecting to see a doctor for sleep apnea. Only after I wanted to complain to the Hospital did his office call back with an appointment with Dr. Berland but I had to agree to see the NP hereinafter. I did not take it and will find a doctor that cares enough about patients to actually see them. RUN!
Dr Berland, has always been very professional, and his staff is always friendly and professional as well.
