After being a patient here for more than 10 years, and at 71 years old, I received a letter stating my PCP was leaving the practice and a phone number for a referral line. No other doctors at this location are picking up these patients and my choices were to go to Lynn (over 30 minutes away) or Rowley (45 minutes away). This is very distressing, unprofessional and plainly unacceptable.
Called with a problem pains in my arm. Talked to a great nurse who was concerned. He got back to me with concerns of a blood clot and should go to the emergency room to get imaging. Another nurse called me as I am getting ready to go and tell me they dropped me as a patient. I hadn't been in a few years and they dropped me and they are not taking new patients. I am sitting here with a possible blood clot and nowhere to go. I am at a loss. This is why I didn't go back for years, they just don't care.
My 16-year-old daughter went there to get her blood drawn, and unfortunately, neither of her parents could accompany her because of prior work commitments. The woman who drew her blood, made her feel so comfortable and she was so kind!! My daughter was a little nervous and this woman made her feel extremely at ease.
