Owner/operator is a top bloke
We stayed 3 nights here recently and had a great stay. Room was a bit smaller than what I had expected and things were a wee bit more dated than I had hoped however the price was primo! Little bit of a hike outta town however all of the public transport is really easy to get on and off and also to work out! The guy on the desk in the arvo/evenings is just fantastic!!!
I booked this hotel based on reviews saying it was basic but clean and nice in a good location. The man on the front desk is the rudest man ever. He kept saying “he wasn’t supposed to be working” when asked any simple question. The walls are paper thin and someone was hammering and fixing something at midnight. If there is anything wrong with your room, don’t dare ask for it to be fixed because you will be spoken to horribly and told you are inconveniencing them. Honestly 1/10 would not recommend.
