Went to this hospital after a water accident. I was the only person in the waiting room, yet it took me 4.5 hours to talk to a doctor. My husband went into the back to see what was taking so long, the doctor was sitting there playing on her phone and snacking. I understand she has 12 hour shifts, but why not give me 5 minutes of your time before you take a break.. I was the only person there. She told me nothing was wrong and sent me home with 4 tylenol (which i got a $5 fee in the mail for). The next day I went to the sudbu... read more
Doing their absolute best with the personal available. Was not a safe space for me at the time, being the end of a long weekend. But staff is very knowledgeable and learning as they go. Appreciate the support I received
My grandma is currently in this hospital, nearing end of life. The staff have been amazing. My grandma's last wish was to pass at ARCH. Unfortunately, there isn't any beds there. The staff's level of care and compassion is far superior to the Sault Area Hospital. Even though she may not make it to ARCH, she is at least in a place with kind and caring staff.
I don't have a family doctor and there are no walk in clinics in blind river so I went to the hospital for my medical issues. I had 4 issues to deal with. After waiting for 5 hours, I was finally seen by a doctor. He said that he was not a family doctor and that I had to pick 1 out of the 4 issues that I felt was the most important because he was not able to help me with anything else. I am not very impressed by that. I am sure that I am not the only person in the area without a family doctor so my question is this, are we n... read more
If u have a basic health problem go here, if you have an advanced problem that requires top end highly educated doctors head south. For preventive health care head south. They will catch whatever ls wrong with you when your farther advanced they don't have the knowledge to catch anything prior.
