Janice Merrill is the most responsive and helpful lender I have ever worked with. I have joked more than once that she must have a clone. She consistently spends hours with clients so they truly understand the numbers and the loan process. Janice probably has more VA loan knowledge than any other lender in the Twin Ports area.

Customer service has slipped, called with a payment problem and talked to Kathy, she could not have cared less and first made up reasons that I was having a problem. Then later in the call said it was my fault and offered no way to correct the problem... it was my error but had no way to help correct the problem, multiple times during the call placed me on hold without telling me and finally placed me on hold never to return. Guess customer service is no long a priority and Northshore Bank

Janice Merrill and others we worked with during the purchase of our first home through North Shore Bank were very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process.

I have been a customer of the Hermantown Branch bank since it first began on the Air Base and then moved to the present location. I have been pleased with the friendly, professional service they have always provided to me all those years.
