Avoid taking your kids here unless you enjoy having your messages ignored and your calls go unreturned. Dr. Mackin was fine for our kids, but we are moving to a different pediatrician due to horrendous treatment we've received from her nurses and front office. After one appointment, my wife asked Dr. Mackin about a pediatric dermatologist. Dr. Mackin said she'd have her staff send us two recommendations. I really like Dr. Mackin as my son’s doctor. She is great with kids and very observant. She diagnosed my son with ADHD by carefully listening to everything I shared, even though I wasn’t aware of all the signs I was mentioning. Additionally, she was efficient in providing his school with all the necessary information. My biggest complaint, however, is the wait time. No matter how early we arrive, check in, and get called back, we always end up waiting at least an hour past our appointment time to see her. It’s challenging fo... read more

I believe I was profiled by Dr. Mackin. (Being heavily tattooed and colored hair) I went in for a sinus infection, with my chronic allergies I know the routine. Handing over the prescription she tells me “just don’t abuse it, okay?” Expressing my concerns about being on the Depo birth control shot, wanting to try other options. I felt my concerns were invalidated that it couldn’t be the shot that was causing my migraines. Wouldn’t be my first choice of primary care, definitely look some else if you can.

Worst service :/ I never received my labs results. I waited for a month and I never received them. (But they sent me the bill anyway🤣) I had to make an appointment with a different doctor and they sent me my lab results in a week.

I have been going to NSFM for several years now. Dr. Mackin always takes time to explain things and doesn't rush the appointments. I glad I found her.
