It was a bit nerve wracking getting started but then you get the feel and it's fun! The dogs are amazing! Full of energy and super friendly! Brad and Leah were full of information and so welcoming! We were so impressed with everything! Definitely dress warm and enjoy the ride!
Wow! Dog sledding at North Ridge Ranch was beyond our expectations! Reading through North Ridge website and watching many youtube videos about dog sledding had already set very high expectations with us, but being there, spending time with Leah and Brad and their team (how they refer to their dogs), simply created a totally different experience for is. Absolutely loved it! It was great experience for all of us. I was bit terrified at the beginning driving with my daughter. But given good instructions regarding safety in the beginning added on self confidence. Took around 10 minutes to get used to sled and dogs movement. After that it was just pure pleasure. It was bit cold, next time we will be taking hand and feet warmers especially for ones in the sled and good warm shoes. But as long as you are prepared for bit of cold. Excitement is priceless.
