Extremely grateful for Dr Gunawardena’s expertise and top notch care provided by the doctors at the clinic.
Dr. Gunawardena was assigned as my baby’s paediatrician at the hospital and at first she seemed very caring, but I quickly realized she is completely overwhelmed and unable to manage her patients even thought she is still accepting new patients. Every single visit has meant waiting 3–4 hours, even with a scheduled appointment. I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. The front desk staff called me ahead of time, assuring me that there wouldn't be much of a wait. However, when we arrived, we ended up waiting for more than an hour beyond our scheduled appointment time with no explanation or apology. This was incredibly frustrating, especially after being told there wouldn't be much of a wait. Extremely long wait times, 2 hour wait minimum with appointment. Children with needs simply cannot wait this long. It’s not about being thorough with appointment. The clinic clearly over books patients. If care needs to be extensive then why do they overbook. Not all appointments are due to extreme healthcare concerns, some are routine check ups or vaccinations. It’s completely ridiculous, they do not respect family time. They have no entertainment for an kids waiting, except for a unfam kids tv channel.
