My grandmother tells me time and time again she waits over an hour for an appointment, and when she does see the doctor, her concerns are often disregarded. I recently discovered a serious fungal infection on her toenails to the point they were breaking, and asked if she’d seen the doctor. Went in to get my son his Covid Vax. The lady doctor there freaked out when I mentioned he had tree nut allergies and refused to give him the vaccination. Said the vaccine can't be given to people who have any allergies full stop. That we should get it done at the children's hospital. I did my research and both covid and allergy specialist medical bodies have clearly published literature that children who have nut allergies can get the vaccine.
